Our Story

Keraza is a worldwide event where Coptic Orthodox youth are engaged in biblical and dogmatic studies, Coptic language and hymns, various sports, and different creative arts. All gather with one goal; to build a generation of witnesses to Christ founded on solid faith, appreciative of the Orthodox worship, and pride in their Coptic roots. A generation that can enlighten the world with their love, move mountains with their faith, and hand it to the coming generations just like how our apostles passed it to us. Amen

Educational

Each year, the Keraza competition encourages the youth to focus on three main aspects: 1) Biblical Studies 2) Church History 3) Lives of Saints

Coptic

Coptic, the language of the early church, continues to be used to date in biblical and hymnological studies of old manuscripts. We continue to use Coptic in Liturgical services and hymns.

Hymns

Through Hymns we are able to praise God with the angels saying "Holy Holy Holy". Hymns are more than musical notes, they allow us to praise God and unite with the heavenly church of saints. Hymns are the results of a plucked heart in prayer.

Sports

One of the best ways to foster the spirit of unity and love among our youth. Every single year our youth compete in basketball, soccer, ping-pong, chess, and volleyball.
